David needs to review his Life Insurance and TPD cover, as he is currently on a salary of $250k p.a. + Super. He has just set up a SMSF to buy a residential property in the ACT for $455k and currently has a balance of $280k in his retail fund which will remain open. He is married with 4 kids (17, 15, 13 & 10) and his wife works part-time as a nurse at Campbelltown Hospital. David is the primary income earner and has not reviewed his Life Cover & TPD in years, and he also doesn’t have any Trauma Cover. He does have Income Protection through his employer Wests Leagues Club at Leumeah.
